Are you interested in Colombia and its culture? Do you want to be able to cook a delicious traditional meal? Are you also curious what the everyday realities in Colombia look like?
As part of our new launched campaign #WhoIsKillingThem, we are organising this event for everybody interested in spending a few hours doing something exciting: cooking and getting to know Colombia!
If you join us, you will spend the evening with Dayana, a passionate Colombian activist, currently living in Belgium, who can cook really well! Dayana will show you how to prepare arepas: one the most popular foods in Colombia, served in almost every home for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Dayana will introduce you into the political realities of Colombia and will let you know how you can support environmental defenders, who just like her are striving to protect the amazing nature of her country.
The event will be moderated by Dayana, who is a native Spanish speaker. Simultaneous English translation will be provided!
We would like to kindly ask you for a small donation of 5 euros, in order to support our ongoing campaign.
After you have registered, a few days before the event, you will receive an email with an exact list of the necessary ingredients and some tips on where to find them (in Belgium). In this email we will also send you the Zoom Link and the details about how to make the donation.
For any questions or special requests, please contact us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or send a message to our Facebook page (@CatapaColombia).
