Activist exchange : Weaving connections between each other and activists from Colombia

On March 27, frontline defenders Carolina and Wilder will join us in a dialogue about activism and what this means, here in Belgium and on the other side of the globe, specifically Colombia! Do you consider yourself an (aspiring) activist and have questions or are you just curious? CATAPA, LABO and Green Office UGent invite you to join this activists meet-up.

During this evening they will share their story about the fight against mining in the region of Falan, Colombia. But you will also learn how you can be part of the movement here and how to say ‘yes’ to de-growth and de-mining.
Then, we will open up the discussion to the audience : learning from each other’s experiences (good and otherwise), sharing tips and tricks to get organised or convince more people to join you or simply exchanging contacts!
During the exchange, you’ll be able to participate in the creation of an activist garland!Details:
